Meadowvale is one of eight Area
Associations that make up the Mississauga Hockey League.
Each age group is divided into
four levels called “Red”, “White”, “Blue” and “Green”. Each
level is designated for players with specific hockey abilities;
Red being the highest House League level down through White,
Blue and Green. This process ensures balanced and fair teams
with equal opportunities for all players.
Meadowvale enters teams in all
age groups and skill levels, giving all our players the best
opportunity to play with and against players with comparable
skill levels.
Meadowvale’s “Red” teams play
against the Red teams from the other Associations, as do our
“White” “Blue” and “Green” teams.
Generally there’s one game per
week, usually played on Saturdays, with the seven year old Minor
Novice games starting about 11:00 am. Novice games start around
11:45 am. Games start progressively later in the day for older
kids.
Games are split between
Meadowvale Four Rinks; our home ice, and the home rinks of the
other MHL Associations.
Teams practice once per week.
We can’t confirm a complete schedule until registration is
almost full, and the City sends us our ice contracts, but it’s
safe to assume the schedule will be similar to the past
season’s, which is still posted on our website.

The season starts with
evaluations; the second and third Sundays in September, and
games and practices kick off a week or two after that.
