RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PERSON ON RINK DUTY ...

1. Pick up the following at the ticket office:

• (a) Clipboard with Report Forms:

•       i) Rink Duty Report

•       ii) C.H.A. Accident Report

• (b) Red rink duty jacket or rink duty vest.

2. Be visible at rink side during all games.

3. Fill in the Date, Arena and Rink # and make note on the report:

• (a) Conduct of teams

• (b) Conduct of coaches

• (c) Referees: Were they late, or absent.

4. Make sure the teams are out of the dressing rooms, to start the games on time. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT

5. If a player is seriously injured, make sure his coach completes a "C.H.A. Accident Report". Upon completion, the parent should take this form to the hospital/dentist for the medical report to be filled in then the form is returned to the M.H.L. via the relevant Area Association President.

6. Assist the rink personnel during a fire alarm.

7. Watch the EXIT doors, to make sure there is no illegal entry to the arena.

8. Sign your name at bottom to make report valid.

9. Leave the clipboard, jacket and all completed forms at the ticket office when your duty ends.

NOTE:  To easily search for your team's schedule,  hold the 'Ctr'l key and press 'F'.   Enter your team number (you must enter it exactly as shown  in the table- it is case sensitive), for example:   ME-040 , into the space labelled 'Find What'.  It will show you the first entry for your team number, then at the bottom of the 'Find What' window, press 'Find Next' and it will find the next one.    When you have found all of the entries corresponding with your team number, click on 'Close' in the 'Find What' window.
